FTA'S PILOT TRAINING
2017 is proving to be another flourishing year in the Aviation Industry and with the recent expansion of our training facilities with the introduction of our Spanish Campus in Teruel, we have once again pushed the boundaries in allowing for even more affordable flight training. With more and more aircraft on order for airlines such as Ryanair, recruitment is at an all time high, meaning positions for newly qualified Pilots are ever more present.
Jonathan Candelon, Managing Director of FTA, spoke recently about the high demand for Pilots in the present economic market: "There is currently a huge demand for Pilots and this trend shows no sign of slowing anytime soon. The likes of Boeing and Airbus have predicted that we will need as many as 617,000 new Pilots by 2035. That's approximately 34,000 new Pilots a year!"
don't pay over £120,000 TO BECOME A QUALIFIED PILOT
For many people though, it is the financing that is proving a large burden to bear. Candelon responded "Despite recent media reports, Pilot training does not have to cost £120,000. At FTA, we pride ourselves on making Pilot training as accessible as possible to students. Our Integrated Courses start from as little as £63,950 and the fee is payable over 12 months, meaning that there are no large up front payments. We feel this mitigates the financial risk of training and offers a more suitable payment plan".
