We assist all our students with sourcing suitable accommodation close to our flight schools.

There are many factors to take into when considering flight training and accommodation is one of them.  We recognise that if this is your first time from home, or you're arriving from another country, finding a safe, relaxing and suitable home can seem quite daunting. At FTA we are happy to assist you with sourcing accommodation which is close to the school and fits within your budget. In 2017, we had 24 nationalities across the world join us and we helped meet their requirements and needs.

At FTA, we are privileged to be based on the South Coast of England, which lends itself to a wide array of stunning and beautiful scenery. Located in Shoreham-by-Sea, the local town offers a great range of shops, events, restaurants and pubs and everything else you need to have a fantastic time during your time studying. Whilst we are situated in Shoreham, we have a variety of neighbouring towns only a bus or train journey away – Brighton and Hove, Worthing and Lancing.

For more information regarding these towns, check out our article on what’s it like to live on the Sussex Coast read our blog article, (click here).

We work closely with the local community to provide a database of host families that will meet all of your needs. These properties are reviewed by our Student Welfare Manager and are then added to our portfolio, ready for you to live in. All our students live in privately rented accommodation and enjoy the flexibility and independence that this offers. A recommended amount to budget for (when living in the UK) is around £400-600. To budget for living in Teruel, Spain we suggest around €300-400.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss your options, please contact us. Out Student Welfare Manager is available 8am-4pm Monday to Friday on 01273 455177. Alternatively, you can submit enquiry using the form below.
