What to do in Brighton and Sussex during your pilot training

Alexandra O'Loughlin01 Mar 2017 Posted in: pilot training, FTA, News, be a pilot

We realise that the primary reason that students come here is to complete their flight training, whether it being through one of our modular or integrated pilot course packages.

However as many of our students will tell you, it is important that you also manage to get a healthy balance between studying and enjoying yourself in your free time, as it allows you to get the most out of your training. Due to our location on the South coast, there is a rich and diverse range of activities that you can partake in and we have listed below some information on a few of the things that you can do for fun and for little cost*:

Seven Sisters Country Park

Located near the idyllic town of Seaford, Seven Sisters Country Park is a beautiful area that showcases the amazing landscape of the South Coast.

With its trademark chalk cliffs and rolling beaches, you can spend many hours breathing in the fresh air and escaping the hustle and bustle of life. The Park is situated on the ‘South Downs Way National Trail’, which stretches for 100 miles and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can walk and observe the beautiful views of Beachy Head Lighthouse, Cuckmere Haven and Belle Tout. This area is well worth a visit.
